TODAY WE LOST A HERO

Post by Redbeck » 20 May 2020 18:06

AND WORDS IN MEMORY OF ERIC DOBSON AGED 95 WHO DIED TODAY.
WE ARE SORRY TO HEAR OF ERIC'S PASSING INTO AND OVER THE GREAT DIVIDE

WHAT A MAN HE WAS, KIND, THOUGHTFUL AND FULL OF CHARACTER.
A MAN OF CONSIDERABLE MERIT AND MANY TALENTS, WHO, SERVED IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR AS PART OF A VERY YOUNG SEVEN MAN AIRCREW OF A DREADFUL WAR BOMBER. TAKING THEM TO PLACES THEY WOULD NOT GO BUT DID.

MAN'S INHUMANITY TO MAN MAKE COUNTLESS THOUSANDS MOURN.

DIDN’T SEE MUCH OF HIM IN LATER YEARS , THOUGH HAD THE PLEASURE OF HIS COMPANY A FEW TIIMES BY HAPPY CHANCE AT THE COFFEESHOP AND SAT ON THE CATHEDRAL WALL.

GOD BLESS OUR HEROIC ERIC
YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS'

REST IN PEACE
