I see this, as a light that extends in this once physical/spirit strapped in the material form

The door may close at any moment, so I am willing the shadowy figure in the doorway not to turn round and forsake their freedom and return to the walls they know. Is this a symbolic coronavirus lockdown perhaps. Very evocative..... a butterfly only averages a month of emergence and blissful freedom before death. The work drew me in. Redbeck
