Greetings,

It has been way too long since my departure from the oracle forum.
However I’ve been keeping tabs here and there and watching the community grow, and following all these new users and posts.

Unfortunately, my return brings back a predicament.
I’m not even sure how to word this, for I may sound clinically insane, but ever since I’ve been gone, I’ve been doing some immense research on deep esoteric knowledge.
I mean things from the very depths of this universe, to spirituality, numerology, religious beliefs, cults, psychedelic drugs, and much more.

I’ve gained so much understanding, or in other words enlightenment that I feel as if I’m out of my body.
I feel as if astral projection is happening to me constantly.

Does anyone know the reason for this?

My anxiety levels have reached a peak I can’t describe. And I’ve never felt this way, nor have I had any mental issues in the past.

They say knowledge is enlightenment, but how come after I have gained so much wisdom and knowledge, I feel as if I’m losing myself? Going insane?

Amphibious is a common metaphor ive heard

ppl come into this reality different ways but if you are a soul before a body wouldn’t astral projection just be closer to a base/original existence. by its own logic wouldn’t we always be “projecting” and dwelling in a physical body is just a projection of the spiritual.

I can definitely agree with this. And thank you!

I guess more understanding technically leads to more questions, to the point where it can be overwhelming to some.
I think I’ve always feared that idea of something “bigger” being out there. It’s always fascinated me, yet scared me.
I guess it’s because I’m a control freak, the good old Sherlock Holmes, always trying to get to the bottom of everything.
But the universe has clearly showed us thats quite impossible, and so that scares me. The more knowledge I get the more powerless I feel about the things around me, thus generating in anxiety.

But we’ve been programmed to be able to USE this gift. Knowledge is not always knowing, knowledge can be wisdom too.

I guess a solution is to look at all these things from a different perspective. Instead of truth, maybe I should take it as enlightenment.

When I came into re-remembrance and gnosis, who I was, I wanted to cry. It was a state of constant searching, constant reading, utter desperation.

You have to take the time to soak it in, then apply the simplest, yet the highest, before manifesting higher complex energies.

Return to the breath when you are overwhelmed.

Greater knowledge can trigger a whirlpool of emotions including fear, hence the saying "ignorance is bliss" yet we are as humans equally scared of the unknown. The Gospel of Thomas (also known as the "Chenoboskion Manuscripts" and the "Gnostic Gospels" as well as the “Coptic Gospel of Thomas”) can be accurately described as an extra-canonical gospel of sayings.
Based on its discovery in December 1945 as part of a collection of books known as the Nag Hammadi library, Nag Hammadi in Egypt, it was widely thought that the document possibly originated from within a school of early Christians, proto-Gnostics. Scholars speculate that the works unearthed, were secretly buried as a result of a letter circulated by Bishop Athanasius which specified a strict and binding canon of Christian scripture.

Scholars have suggested wildly differing estimates of dates relative to the gospel’s composition from as early as AD 60 to as late as AD 250. More recently some critics of that theory have questioned whether there is any foundation to the conclusion that Thomas is a "gnostic" gospel other than the fact that it was discovered alongside a group of gnostic texts at Nag Hammadi. The name Thomas was referenced to the Book of Thomas the Contender, which was also in Nag Hammadi Codex II, and the Acts of Thomas. Although the the Gospel of Thomas does not indicate any direct acceptance of Jesus' divinity, neither does it obviously contradict it.

Bishop Eusebius included it among a group of books which he believed to be not only spurious, but "the fictions of heretics". Eusebius of Caesarea, also known as Eusebius Pamphili, was a historian of Christianity, exegete, and Christian polemicist. He became the bishop of Caesarea Maritima circa AD 314. Together with Pamphilus, he was a scholar of the biblical canon and is regarded as one of the most learned Christians of his time.

The Church father Origen listed the "Gospel according to Thomas" as being among the heterodox apocryphal gospels known to him. Origen of Alexandria (c. 184 – c. 253), also known as Origen Adamantius, was an early Christian scholar, ascetic, and theologian who was born and spent the first half of his life in Alexandria. One of the most influential figures in early Christian theology, apologetics, and asceticism, he is frequently described as "the greatest genius the early church ever produced".
