Selections from Chapter Four in "The Great Work:

Post by QuestforEudaimonia »

A Vital Message For All Mankind" by Hoshaiah Akakêsios.

Chapter 4: Man's Obligations (Individually & As a Whole)

- "The Key to All and utterly Everything is Love, to the ends of the GREAT SEA and back, LOVE is the infinite before (past) and after (future).

Mankind (or you singularly) is an absolutely, exact, precise, perfect image of not only the LORD CREATOR BEYOND COMPREHENSION, but every iota of the Things existing within HIM (the ALL itself: the Infinite TOTALITY OF TOTALITIES without measure)."

- "Now, the straightest Path to become a God or Angel of even the Ogdad is the constant, eternal, purposeful realization and conception (in the back of your mind) that you are, in the epitome of Reality and Truth, the pebble and there is uttery no autonomy on either side (of you). You are everything–literally, not metaphorically."

- "Now, the following “Obligations” are not in-actuality set in-stone, you may say. Though these “rules”, you may say, are endlessly helpful to every member of the human race, people, individually, are on different levels of spirituality; you yourself have a set of obligations (that are most useful/needed to you alone) that likely differ from most others. Because of this, do not only follow these on the list, for you are unique!

The 1st Obligation. Do unto others as you would do unto yourself.

The 2nd Obligation. Never stop learning.

The 3rd Obligation. Always seek to be more Wise, the result of which is a Life of Unconditional Love without payment.

The 4th Obligation. Never let your Heart be filled with Fear; never succumb to Fear period (for that matter).

The 5th Obligation. Never, under any excuse, give in to the temptation of Violence, except that it is a purely defensive, necessary measure.

The 6th Obligation. Do more than what is asked or expected of you. If you are not asked to help a poor, homeless man (or woman), do it anyway out of Empathy, and do it without expectation of recognition–or, in other words, do it altruistically, never for selfish reasons.

The 7th Obligation. Never cease, night and day, to Understand the FATHER OF YOU, your GUARDIAN, SHIELD, and SWORD. Certainly, it follows (logically, naturally) that by doing this, you are attempting to Understand the Self as well. To understand HIM is to understand Yourself also. By knowing and being cognizant of the Self and your own Soul, you come to deduce your Purpose, your place in the world, how you are seen by others, how close you are to the Pleroma, to what degree you are “bright” in the Darkness. Do not worry ever, as HE will Guide you to the Light and Happiness (one way or another); all works out the way it is supposed to; to know HIM is to know that no one is left behind, Light in the end wins–no matter the situation, type of mortal life, or pain experienced. Find comfort that All people will find the exit in their due, chosen time.

The 8th Obligation. Do as you preach, (or) be the example you want others to be, (or) be the better person, or don’t let your actions contradict your speech. In such a case, you may give Wisdom but others will dismiss it because they associate it (your teachings) with your unwise actions; they will assume it is false-Wisdom you orate, therefore. Consequently, you have made the world lower than it was before.

The 9th Obligation. Understand and consider every moment that ALL THINGS are equal under GOD and HE gives no favor nor judgement to someone. To the LORD, Negativity and Positivity are abstract, illusional concepts and HE does not see things as “black and white, Good or Bad”. Follow, therefore, in HIS footsteps, but never by using force or taking away the freedoms of others."

- "Every day, keep Curiosity in your head (Brain) and Excitement in your Heart. It will lead you to the stars."
