Change

Post by ForeverEnds »

Hello new friends.

What are you doing to make change? We live in a cold, dark world. But there is hope. There is light. People have, over the course of history, been on a path. Right now this path has led to a world full of conflict, hate, and comfort in mediocrity.
People have little fire or passion anymore, and what little they do have is wasted in short bursts of irrelevant expression most times.
The purest form of human expression, art (poetry, music, literature, painting, etc) has been bastardized by mainstream culture, propaganda for ignorance, and money.
But despite this, humans are not evil by nature (not as a whole, not speaking on the rare individual born "miswired") and have the potential for great good. But it requires initiative, it requires leaders to step up and guide the repressed masses. There have been many great leaders, men who were able to manipulate and influence their people to blindly follow them. Unfortunately, so many of them have been leaders of a horrible cause, almost always military and for the promotion of mass murder.
Where are the leaders pushing love, unity and the single human race?
Of course there is the problem of method, as the way i see it, things have to get unethical, there has to be a certain level of "manipulation" for lack of a better word, of course it is a complex issue. But while i am not the most intelligent individual, i do believe many of you are from what i have gotten in my short time here.
I want to make change, and i intend to do so through my passions as an individual.
But i am curious in the ideas my new community has on this, and what you all do in your lives to make change, or at least how you might advise doing so, as this is a somewhat personal question i suppose.

Again, as a new member of the forum and perhaps not the most well versed individual, forgive any flaws in my post.
I hope to hear some response and hope to create discussion, ideas, and develop my mind through speaking with some enlightened individuals.
Thank you for your time.

Change is everything. Existing is adding to change. To progress. The world goes through periods like this all the time. It history is littered with it. Each time, however, we move a little forward. The change existing here is attempting to be a positive one, it is based on the idea that if we can help the world though deed and concept, that we can make everything a more positive place. I enjoy that idea. However I also understand the need for evil and negativity.

Personally, I am not am instrument for positive change. I'm an instrument for change in general. Evil will always be confronted by good, and good always confronted by evil. My positive actions can be met with negative reaction, and vise-versa. I do things that aren't good as well as things that are.

That's not to say that I don't try to do good. I always do. It's that it definitions for good and evil are not real. My good actions can be bad actions to someone else. Good and evil doesn't exist. I do things that allow me to live with myself, I try my best to make everyone's interaction a positive one.

More broad, my change is opening minds, I attempt to spread the idea of a bigger picture to anyone I can. As well as having a code to live by. No matter what it may be, as long as you believe in it. I also believe in bringing magic back to the masses.

More occult beliefs and goals of mine are to bridge the infinite potential of thought into the physical, in a very direct manner. Not that time affords me much time for it.

Either way, the pieces well change eventually. I see our world popping soon. Things have been relatively stagnant for us. Something will come about that will change everyone's perspectives. I can't say what that might be, but we're due for a massive change. I just hope that the next messiah comes soon. I have no fear of eternal torment or the judgement of some god. I'll bet the messiah or the end of the world won't even be like anything we expect.

Humanity it very asinine in the way it likes to pretend to know everything. Often times I found that the answers that link all other answers are the true ones.

Thanks for the food for thought and welcome to Eht Numah, ForeverEnds
