The Lord and the Lady

The Lord and the Lady is a theme that commonly appears in many world religions, most prominently taking the major role in Wicca. The idea of an equilibrium between the divine feminine and masculine is rare in occult traditions, but is unusually followed in dedicative witchcraft and esotericism, like Wicca and Paganism.

In Wicca, the premiere spirit entities are the Mother Goddess and the Horned God. These entities appear very frequently in varying practices. These entities appear even in Christianity, as Lilith and Lucifer.

In Germanic Paganism, they appear as Sol and Mani.

It is important in any esotericism that balance between both energies is maintained. Hence the potency in flower magick.

Writings on the prevalence of the Lord and the Lady are typically rare outside of Wiccan communities, so it should be one's goal to help proliferate this idea.

Using entities is an aberration in itself.
Idolaters use the gods for inferior purposes.
Adam and Eve represent the first couple separated by ignorance of human idolatry who kneel before the idols of his mind.
Recovering the memory of our exact half is balancing ourselves and the surrounding world.
