So many conflicting views of seagulls, but of course there are so many seagulls to view across the world! And seagulls do imbue a powerful symbolism and spiritual meaning. Intelligent birds, they have an affinity for coastlines and large areas of landfill, and therefore seen as unrestrained and unrestricted, they also symbolise protection, commitment, freedom, and hope.

Much like angels, the birds are known to represent freedom, divinity, and divine communication.

The seagull’s ability to build nests reminds us of the need for protection and self-preservation. Like this prolific and remarkable bird, we should make time to protect our energy, mind, and emotions, and let go of anything that infringes upon our safety.
