Aha packajos000, my, my, my t'is good to hear thy freshly tuned voice and mention of thy Gondor-ian origins.
Gondor, founded by the brothers Isildur and Anarion, exiles from the downfallen island kingdom of Numenor. Gondor the greatest realm of Men in the west of Middle-earth at the end of the Third Age. Although in a realm without kings, Gondor was ruled by Stewards for many generations. Onward we plough, battling the allies of the Dark Lord Sauron as our third age draws down. Resurrection and new life, just the ticket! we'll go for that!

Greetings Gonzo, BeN1 and Sidewalk too, zippedy doo, says Redbeck

The lifeless White Tree of Gondor has been compared to the Dry Tree of medieval legend. Below is a, medieval manuscript illustration of the Dry Tree (centre) with the Phoenix ensconced in its branches, flanked by the Trees of the Sun and the Moon. Both the Dry Tree and the Phoenix are symbols of resurrection and new life. Rouen 1444–1445.
