Even though Christianity is the world's leading religion, according to the number of its supporters, Islam is reaching it

In 2050, the number of Christians and Muslims among the population of the Earth will be equal. In 2070, Islam will become the world's leading religion. Such a forecast was posted on the Washington section of the profile section of the research center named after Pyu.
According to the document, in 2010, 2.2 billion Christians were registered in the world. This is 31% of the total population. In the same year, the number of Muslims was 1.6 billion (23 percent). Nevertheless, representatives of the Islamic religion live in more dynamically growing regions because of our demographics. According to American experts, in the year 2050, 2.8 billion will be Muslim and 2.9 billion will be Christian, out of 9.3 billion people living on Earth. In that period, 40 percent of the Christian population will be in Africa, south of Saxar. In Europe, the number of Muslims by migration will be 10 percent of the total population. In some countries, such as the UK, the Netherlands, and France, Christians will lose their advantage over counting. In the United States, Islam ahead of Judaism and occupy the second place after Christianity.
Not only Buddhism is expected to rise among the world's largest religions in the next 40 years. Thus, the lowest birth rate among believers is observed in representatives of this religion. There are 1.6 newborn babies in each of these women, whereas in Muslim and Christianity this figure is 3.1 and 2.7, respectively.
Interestingly, according to Washington researchers, in some countries, including the United States and France, atheists, agnostics, and people who do not belong to any religion, will decrease their total number in the world.
Let us note that the new report was published on the eve of Easter, where American Protestants and Catholics are preparing to celebrate
