Nine influencers are attested in Indian astrology.

9 is also a Motzkin number, whereby for a given number n is the number of different ways of drawing non-intersecting chords (a chord being a straight line segment whose endpoints both lie on the circle) between npoints on a circle (not necessarily touching every point by a chord). The Motzkin numbers are named after Theodore Samuel Motzkin, an Israeli American mathematician.

The early Motzkin numbers in the sequence are 1, 2, 4, 9, 21, 51, 323, 835……..

By the way I've spent no end of time in Finland, and charmingly Finnish is like no other language I've come across. I have learned the rudiments of Russian which can be difficult, other than the French words that occur in it which mean the same and at least give you a hook into the sense of certain elements of conversation. However, no such hooks in Finnish.

Two: kaksi. You say it cuck-si.

Three: kolme. Said phonetically as col-mey

Six: kuusi. You say it koo-si.

Seven: seitsemän. Said phonetically as sates-eh-man.

Nine: yhdeksän. This is the hardest one. You say it yuh-deck-san.

But back to Motzkin. Also, the Motzkin number for n gives the number of routes on the upper right quadrant of a grid from coordinate (0, 0) to coordinate (n, 0) in n steps if one is allowed to move only to the right (up, down or straight) at each step but forbidden from dipping below the y = 0 axis.
