Déjà vu

I don't know if anyone has already done a topic on this, but I just wanted to mention it on here.
Many of you probably already know this and have experienced this at least once in your lives.
Déjà vu is a feeling of recollection of memory. It is where a person feels as if something that happened ALREADY happened in their lives. Some people believe it to be a prophecy, others (scientist) reject that theory and say it is only a anomaly of a memory. Here's the link to a Wikipedia article of déjà vu:

This subject has been lightly touched on in the past but i feel it is a good topic of discussion. As for my personal feelings, and from my personal experiences of prophetic dreams, i feel that déjà vu is a type of premonition, omen, or warning of things to come, be they good or evil.
These are just personal feelings however as this cannot be proven one way or another "scientifically".

I get déjà vu very often and find it hard to express how it makes me feel. My sister believes that because the universe is in constant loop we are just experiencing the same emotions over and over and our spirtis are what become intertwined with déjà vu and try to tell us something important.
Personally, I do believe that it is a phenomena that occurs in the brain (after studying psychology), but I also believe that these phenomena are enacted by something else that the human mind could never fathom. I've expereinced much déjà vu on this site already even though it is my first day, and have found it so odd that out of all days that this website came back into my radar (for the seventh time) is my 19th birthday. Perhaps it is an odd coincidence but my spirit is telling me otherwise, and my recent search to become back in-tune with my spirit (like I was in my beginning youth) have lead me here.
So, I belive that it's something very spiritual and perhaps science will explain it someday, til then it speaks to my soul; which I hope humanity will always awknowledge exsists as we become more immersed (and somehow seperated) into technology and by technology.

Thank you for your interesting reply. I like to think of Deja vu the same way.
I want to be logical in terms of it being a natural Occurrence in the brain and nothing more than a coincidence.
But then there is the side of me that wants to think that it is a spiritual connection within the brain, and it processes prophecys and memories from the past. I would also like to think that it really is the future fortold, although nothing has proved that theory yet.
But then again, I don't know if science can ever prove something like this. Science is the definition of logic, and sometimes I wonder if maybe scientists are too afraid to answer some of these questions.
The truth is left up to us to decide.
