Decent part Mvskoke here. Noticed how a lot of Native creation myths have Earth initially completely flooded by water

I heard an old one about the sky and the water earth beneath, and an animal brings up dirt from the bottom to begin building an island either just by itself or on a turtle.

They generally all follow that parallel, and a lot of scientists even say that’s how it started when earth began to precipitate the water in the atmosphere
