Numbers are hard for me
Posted: 14 Feb 2021 20:06
I've been studying the page with all the numbers 1-99 with the colors in the columns, and I am beyond frustrated. I know the second column from the left is how many letters there are in each number spelled out: Meaning 1=one=3, 2=two=three, 4=four=four, and so on. I notice how four is the only number that has the same letters as the numerical value. I wonder what significance this holds, or if I'm overthinking it.
And I do understand the three last columns. The first one is the one method of numerology where each letter is 1-24, and the second is assigning them 1-9 and starting over until the end of the alphabet. Then the numbers are simplified (add to reduce, reduce to deduce) and they're always the same number, which is represented in the third column. Extremely fascinating to me, even though I know it's probably not actually that complicated. I am terrible at math, so if some of this makes me seem stupid beyond belief, I'm sorry lol. I'm trying.
And then the column group about "totals of 1-9" I also don't understand, but I suppose it just needs more time. I am unsure of the difference between the two types of numerology, from assigning letters 1-26 and then the other method of 1-9 repeating. Sometimes it's combined. Sometimes only one is used. Sometimes there's even multiplication, and I don't even get the significance of the charts. I don't understand what they're supposed to represent. I don't know WHY the numbers matter, I don't know what they mean. Why do we find the essence of words or phrases? What does the resulting number mean?
There's my frustrations and troubles voiced. If anyone has any hints or tips or whatever I'd be eternally grateful, because I've been stuck for a long time. Maybe I'm just looking at this shit the wrong way and investing my time incorrectly. Regardless, I'd love to hear some thoughts or advice or maybe even similar struggles (if yall even have them.)
Thanks for reading and Happy Valentines day to all,
-Tyler
