Does anyone have any predictions about what could happen this year, on a global level?
I am also interested in what predictions you have about Japan and Romania, if possible.

Japan enjoys more advanced vaccines, and the population is not culled.

Can't say much for Romania, they suffer much the same fate as surrounding states.
