An Alien Visit

Is Mankind so ignorant to believe that there is not a higher intelligence somewhere
out there in the skies...

Since the mid-20th Century, there has been an ongoing search for signs of
Extraterrestrial Intelligence on other planets, from radios used to detect possible
signals to telescopes used to search for potential habitable extrasolar planets,
also documentation showing other beings who also have an interest in searching
for alternative planets that are as habitable as ours.

Those that follow UFOs closely, know that the largest wave of sightings in modern
times coincided with the discovery or `Splitting of the Atom` and the use of
Atomic Energy during WWII, in other words when we discovered how to manipulate
nuclear energy, we triggered an unprecedented wave of UFO sightings too.

UFO`s have a long and documented history of appearing just before, or after
man-made catastrophic events.

There no question that they are keeping their eye on our planet Earth, also
there is little doubt that Earth`s oceans, forests and species of plants and
animals are worth saving, the living breathing, self-regulated sentient being
that we live on is at the core of their mission.

We need to make some change and very quickly for this planet to survive.

Definition of Alien; Belonging to, or relating to another person, place or thing.

A Story
On a cold blustery evening in late March, something strange, an unexplained
but wonderous event happened to me....
I live in a small village near a parkland with a small stream close to clusters of trees,
this is my favourite place to walk my dog, also I found it a good place to contemplate
life in general, suddenly there was a faint buzzing sound then a huge flash of
of bright blue and white lights, then a thud!
A blue hazy image was moving forwrd toward me..

I stepped back a little trying to understand what was happening, the dog didn`t
seem bothered, just stayed at my side, sniffing the air.

My first thought was that someone was playing a trick on me but I coudn`t think
of anyone I knew who would do such a thing. Slowly the blue hazy image cleared
leaving me looking at at a pretty, youngish woman of aroud 30, she looked friendly
and had a lovely smile. There was nothing scary about her at all, she looked like any
normal person, I was glad as I never thought that an`alien` would look any
different from us. She wore a type of overall outfit, her footwear looked like a
type of desert boot, there was a bright scarf tied at her neck, the only other
thing she had was a large bag slung across her chest... neither of us spoke.

After what seemed like ages, I asked her if she was lost, no reply, I asked if she would
like to come in and have a drink, pointing at my little house behind me, she blinked,
then a huge smile came across her face, she searched in her bag and got a small
device out, it looked a bit like a mobile phone but was very small and a strange
shape, with a `click` she spoke the words `Lewis, all clear, no conflict` then
followed me into the house.

Speaking as we walked, `My name is Isla, Lewis is my travel partner, he is doing some surveying outside I'm sorry I didn`t speak sooner, I had to establish which language was spoken here, we are aware of several used on Earth, we have travelled a long way, I responded, `I`m Hope, pleased to meet you`, she shook my hand and accepted the cup of tea I gave her.

That`s when I noticed that there was a number `9` on third finger on her right hand.
She wandered around seeming to be interested in my books, photo`s and clothing
that were scattered about the room.

My next question was `Where are you both from?` She replied, `A small planet
near Ceres, called Eirene` she reached in her bag again and handed me a large,
smooth stone, much like a paperweight but it was beautifully painted in a bright
abstract pattern, I saw it had the number 1836 engraved into the pattern,
`Keep it safe` were the words she whispered to me.

I asked her why they were here, she explained that they were sent to find if any
intelligence existed on the planet amongst other things...then her phone thing, clicked,
I heard a mans voice, he said `Return, code 105, malfunction` with that she just
disappeared , leaving me and the dog staring at the still open door. Her voice
travelled back, in a whisper, `Sorry, will see you again, Hope, promise!` then we
were on our own again.

I was stunned, I thought of all the questions I wanted to, or should have asked. How
many of you are there ? what do you really want? so on and so on. The stone was
still in my hand, I grabbed a bit of paper and set about checking the numbers I
had seen and heard, wanting to find the value and meaning, `1836` was obviously,
to do with the Atom, both of their names added up to `5`, balance, the number
`105` I couldn`t think of a meaning, only that it added up to `6` and of course
the number `9` on her third finger,.. of course `Lunar Wisdom`....
all I could think of was WoW.....

I do hope they return some day.

I ask you the same question, what would your first question be, if you met an `Alien`

'What is the weather like where you come from? Is it so hot or so cold that you would need to find an alternative world, is your planet wet with seas and lakes or dry with vast stretches of desert, do you have rain or snow, ice, hail, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes? Do edible vegetation and plants grow where you live or have you come to farm earth like a small holding and should we consider you the great intergalactic gardener? In other words have you come to help or harvest'

Now to the story:

I went on a fishing trip with my then wife Svetlana, her cousin Valeri and his friend Olga from Rostov-on-Don in southern Russia, way down south into Astrakhan Oblast where the Volga river drains into the Caspian Sea.

This area is easily described as a striking half moon of emptiness with endless stretches of grassland and untouchable sky. Dotted with remote farms and occasional large lakes, where you might expect to catch shoals of plump, pretty much undisturbed fish. I was told at the time that this area enjoyed celebrity as the old medieval border between Europe and Asia, along with a reputation as a place of magic, being renowned for unexplained mystical sightings. Oddly enough being a natural pedant, I have never thought to verify the border aspect as fact, but in retrospect it looks potentially accurate on the map.

It was a peculiar day to say the least. We reached our destination after a drive of several hundred kilometres, several members of the party began to drink chilli vodka, then we embarked almost immediately to row out into the centre of the lake with rod and line to maximise on summer daylight. Bizarrely, within minutes, a huge storm with strong winds and driving rain erupted out of nowhere. So strong, it was driving us toward sinisterly expansive reed beds, which offered absolutely no solid-ground waterside escape route. Boat crew nerves further frayed by the sudden appearance of an incredibly tall water spout beginning to form on the horizon and head in our direction . Rowing power was to no avail, as we simply could not offset the effects of a gale force wind and horizontal rain. Eventually we had to be rescued by motorboat, a kilometre out from any tangible terra firma shoreline, propelled by the fierce forces of nature, while bailing frantically, toward reputedly suction treacherous marshes. In truth, I had resigned myself to a dark and sticky end.

Anyway, somewhat rattled by what could have proved to be a near death experience, soaked and fishless we trudged up from the water's edge to the farmhouse where we were staying. As an observation crucial to later events, like most datchas it had an outdoor compost toilet.

The year was 2004, I remember this because England were playing in the European Championship, and it was the first continuous run in the team for an 18 year old Wayne Rooney. An event we watched later in the evening, on a tiny television with some kind of signal booster and an enormous 2 metre roof dish, our hosts were noticeably impressed by a hitherto unprecedented quality of signal, perhaps a sign of things to come.

As I left the building to accompany my wife to use the outdoor toilet, it was cloudy and dark without a star in sight, having used the facilities. We were standing looking out over the lake with a flashlight as large fish started to congregate in the shallows, when suddenly in the distance three huge lights started to rise from the horizon directly away from any form of civilisation, they pulsed up to what must have been a great height then subsided again. Breathtaking as a phenomenon which went on for at least half an hour, pulse, rise, peak, pulse and then subside every 4 minutes. Returning to the house with a report we received an explanation of complete conviction from the farmer, 'Oh we see them many times, there is nothing over in that direction not many people at all, no towns, they are NLOs (English equivalent UFOs) maybe alien farmers, maybe taking plant samples'. 'Oh right,' thinks I, 'Perfectly normal intergalactic agricultural practise!'

Hence my alien conversation offering above.

POSTSCRIPT: Therefore, I've often wondered whether the extraordinary weather conditions were a preamble to the alien landing, caused by a tussle between the associated waves of energy in turn creating a stratospheric disturbance. This would make a semblance of scientific sense. As in, creating the towering cumuliform cloud or a cumulonimbus cloud to which the intense columnar vortex, normally manifested as a funnel-shaped cloud that occurs over a body of water, connects. Plus of course an abnormally clear TV signal, perhaps piggybacked on the unusually intense energies in the vicinity.

Waterspouts, which are relatively rare, but speaking from personal experience highly disturbing when heading straight toward you trapped in a small rowing boat, have a five-part life cycle: the formation of a dark spot on the water surface, spiral pattern on the water surface, formation of a spray ring, development of the visible condensation funnel, and ultimately decay.
