why so cryptic

like this page does not have enough to offer melting your brains.
if people have an important message to get across, why then have to encrypt

whats the reason behind that?

cause binary/morse code is easily to encode/decode,
you just have to use google.

but is it really worth it?

I am pretty sure the posted message had nothing to do with something extremely secret.

so why all the fuss?

regarding many people here on the forum are posting cryptic stuff for example Packajos (greetings) but I have to say in the past I always had to have it and now it was like the first time I needed to ask sincerely why always pull up that crypto.

for example Packajos his stuff I am honestly asking whats it all about, but I regard him as a crypto artist and I know you don't always have to understand art fully to like it.

Its ultimately just a seperation of the esoteric and the exoteric, to me.

People have unnecessarily made things cryptic for a very long time, many of the wise men of Taoism are just as absurdly cryptic and confusing as anything you'll find here. In Taoism's case... I suggest many of them just find it good fun to put peoples heads in a loop.

Anyways, there has been a variety of reasons people "beat around the bush" with these things, historically. The old alchemical authors would often encode their works, the monks of the orient answer questions with a more confusing question. In some cases it is perhaps to avoid prosecution, in others it is to help them find the answer themselves by presenting them with leading questions, for others its because some measure of work is expected or needed to learn, or maybe they just want to protect trade secrets (this, I suspect, is the most common reason in alchemy's case.)

And again, it seperates esoteric knowledge from exoteric actors. Someone who only takes everything in the most limited, literal, and superficial way without deeply exploring the information isn't going to be served through an exploration of esoteric works, and their journey may in fact be hindered by it.

Im the modern world's case I'm honestly more of the position that it is typically done by people with swollen egos who want to gussy up what they have to say and make it seem more secret, when in reality nothing was worth being hidden to begin with.
