Hunger for the Absolute
Your slow, gentle kisses,
your kind smile,
the breath so faithful
to the line of your nose.
I take pleasure in observing your profile,
which holds something mystical.
It awakens in me
the scent of the desert
struck by the Sun,
the sound of cymbals
and of a soft lyre.
Nobility of spirit
that has chased the centuries
and that I have always loved
without ever feeling
it was enough.
