A god of transition but of boundaries
Protector of travellers yet patron of thieves,
Yet beware the sun’s rays that she cleaves,
For there is a darker burn to their worth,
For it nurtures in the company of Nemesis
She that watched while with melting wings,
Lost Icarus plunged hapless down to earth.
Alas it is you who must remain enchained
Drawing penalty for a crown upon a stick,
And what is this miracle that remained
Clad in raggedly undefined words,
A sleight of light that surely played the trick?
