As another coalition of Western and Arab states elect to confront the sinister mission creep of ISIL and the borders of its self declared Caliphate, the number 9 in alpha to numeric transposition, the power number fundamental to our website dedicated to furthering a dramatic change in the attitude and disposition of human kind, figures strongly in its most cruel manifestation in Syria.

Sane men, women and children cannot discount the sickening possibility that further innocents may start to be spirited away as hostages from what were formerly considered safe western expatriate working havens in the vicinity like UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia (all members of the GCC or Gulf Cooperation Council). Given the ISIL-inflammatory message that military conscription has been triggered in among at least some of those countries as well as the fact they are participating in the contra-ISIL airstrike coalition, the collective will be seen by extremists as culpable.

Predictive, alarmist food for thought maybe, but symptomatic of a ‘saeculum obscurum’ being spread across a region that was the cornerstone and cradle of Islamic science, art, culture and enlightenment.

Another factor is that four of the towns occupied by ISIL in Syria also transpose into the number 4, which is 1 beneath the humanity balance of the number 5 that we consider as a key part of our journey towards a global change of thought process. A beneficial redirection of intelligence that could just save the human race as a counter to the present pernicious spread of evil, avarice, repression and megalomania.
