Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that takes your emotions and twists them together with a faulty reality. To see it as a gift you would have to have some real bad happenings, but with all things on the topic on how it keeps you from perceiving anything correctly I would count that as a curse. Biased opinion since I love to delve deep into reality and force a change within the everything around me.
Don't fall to far, remember the deep end has so many answers and the further you delve the more questions arrive. Don't let it pull you down walk through it yourself
