Copernicus, caught by heaven

“What’s the date?” cried Nicolaus Copernicus' recording his first astronomical observation of heaven,
His assistant shouted from below the bell tower, “Sire It’s the Ninth of March fourteen ninety seven.
Three years later on the 6th of November Copernicus the Polish astronomer observes a lunar eclipse in Rome.
His assistant wearily calls up the stairs "The year is fifteen hundred exactly, it’s cold and I’d like to go home!"
Fourteen lunar years pass, Copernicus makes his first observations of what will be Saturn, oczywiscie, he is also a sage mathematician.
A now arthritic assistant, still serving him in his twilight years croaks, "26th of April fifteen fourteen," from a chilly sedentary position.
Sixteen hundred and sixteen, having completed his astronomical work 'de Revolutionibus' facing outward, you could say convex,
Nicolaus Copernicus came full circle by the fifth of March with his publication foreclosed on the Catholic Forbidden index.

Once I was made to read a look in my English class as a sophomore abt how 10,000 hours at a craft is required to achieve mastery and full zen of whatever you’re trying to master.
Now first I thought it’s impossible to quantify the road to mastery many spend years their entire life without some are born with it. This doesn’t make one better than the other. However the concept of practicing something relentlessly to achieve this state of sage-like awareness and polishing of a craft is how one achieves godhood or more like jesushood as Copernicus here did devoting his life‘s work to the stars as to be returned to his home
