Being anti is the most fundamental affliction of our kind, a kind defiled by centuries and quite aware to the fact that humans are the most self-violent species ever known. War? In The Matrix, the main character Neo is offered the choice between a red pill and a blue pill by rebel leader Morpheus. The red pill represents an uncertain future—it would free him from the enslaving control of the machine-generated dream world and allow him to escape into the real world, but living the "truth of reality" is harsher and more difficult. On the other hand, the blue pill represents a beautiful prison—it would lead him back to ignorance, living in confined comfort without want or fear within the simulated reality of the Matrix. As described by Morpheus: "You take the blue pill...the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill...you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes." Neo chooses the red pill and joins the rebellion.

I enjoy your ideas on freedom/enslavement. Let me tell you no matter what you will have to fold to some higher power, whether that be your “boss” man or whenever you have to eventually eat but in the end your thoughts are your own while you submit momentarily. The real “slavery” I see would be like, how people are so easily manipulated online like a carrot on a stick w/ a pig in Minecraft, it’s like I might as well color and play finger puppets with them to enjoy some “banter”. However it takes their willingness to submit to burying their minds in cement, I see as just natural selection lambs to the slaughter whatever edgy analogy. Tbh I don’t feel sad about this before I refuse to view the world as linear as those “enlightened” and those “not”, I see everyone on variable gradients of consciousness same cards punched with holes differently. I try to help people think and develop through seemingly mundane conversation bc I figure hey if the masses are so easily manipulated maybe I can egg the people around me on to thrive doing good things and helping them think a little for themselves.
However middle age obese women on Facebook who are illiterate besides speaking in emojis? It’s difficult to view them as even conscious like what the fuck does this person do in their day to day? But I digress I sit here on a rant on my favorite slice of the internet lately. It’s impossible to use words to properly describe the natures of men like us who enjoy learning and growing verses someone like the Facebook denizen I mentioned before, I’ve wasted a lot of time thinking about this so I choose to steer clear of it, I like to think we both could sit on a porch somewhere and enjoy a sunset to the same degree, but where I’d have an inclination to soak in the moment they’d have an inclination to check whatever social media “news” is running their clockwork

And after a recent LSD induced breakdown, my first bad trip, though I view it as a necessary poisonous experience. I watched the matrix again and I realized like, yes some would say pull the wool over my eyes let my forget and some would prefer the truth as us, but in reality there’s countless different pills and degrees of their effects.
You enjoy a movie bc you buy into the reality even for a second that this true and thus slip into an illusion.
You enjoy a tasty treat not bc you see every chemical and physiological process taking place but bc you just eat it and take it at face value.
This is the same concept behind why an artist is inclined to be a perfectionist bc they see through the illusion of every technique and tool used to make their project while a viewer would just only see the finished product.
If you spend all your time examining the infrastructure and clockwork of reality you’ll never have any time to let yourself unwind and enjoy it. This is why through my god I’m able to balance a blissful ignorance with substantial knowledge on how to carry myself

I’m glad that my post made you rewatch the film, I myself haven’t seen it in probably a decade but it is in my mind a piece of the Western canon and deeply ingrained in our culture.

Fundamentally, the choice isn’t so simple as the one between two “pills”. Also, our perception of the world is altered by our ego, in fact the word we see is our own ego. What is really important, and makes one truly wise to the fact, is that our perception and reality are often two different things, and the sooner we accept the fact the faster we can advance.

I know the third film is not nearly as widely known or as popular, but it is the showing of the final, ultimate world of the machines. Maybe the reality we perceive is a better one.

Growing up, being so distanced from everyone, I noticed I straight up didnt have an ego. I grew up untouched by the bullshit if name brands and all that material shit, I always was confused as to why I was different and people around me seemed happy. So once upon a time I became depressed before I understood truths here, an alcoholic I became and I basically seeded an ego that wasn’t there like that before. I forced it and as a result I wasted a lot of time, yeah I wish the matrix could be remastered in a way that wasn’t just a grab at nostalgia man like there’s no issue with a little nostalgia like for example with Indiana Jones and the second Star Wars trilogy, but shit like the the third trilogy is a pathetic grab there’s a reason why Marvel outplayed Star Wars, I digress anyways.
Yes! I like that, subtle but most effective thus the nature of the movie and the most important things in life. Makes me wonder I mean during my “breakdown” I was on a rant about how man, machine, and nature very well could coexist it just takes a willingness and mindfulness 90 percent of society isn’t ready for but I feel like is partially our duty as those with lanterns to lead.
Like there is no issue with a highway (there is just like, you know there’s worse) the biggest issue with human development in my opinion is disgustingly large cities, and cities where people treat the infrastructure like trash and thus it becomes dirtier and ig that comes with the territory of that many people.
Like cities should be designed like Colleges/Parks. I’m talking vegetation everywhere, community gardens and little parks that resemble REAL forests not just a tree or two in a little plot of land you need biodiversity of all kinds of plants so animals and bugs with accompany them. And people could walk to these things or down their block and get their breakfast from a fucking tree and go sit on the bench and like read or barbecue for the neighborhood and shit. Tbh always healthier to grow and make your own food, it’s just far more convenient to hit McDonald’s but, I like to do most of my thinking about the world doing a little landscaping while making my fertilizer and sharing info with everyone around me and the world on how to manage little farm/gardens in the modern world. Fortunately I’ve had the pleasure of going through several experiences highlighting that the majority of my good ideas have never come purely from my ego/material identity but when I shut that part of myself off and just fucking listen or pray, and when I shut my ego out and start to converse with people normally, no matter how “simple” they may seem, when I’m tryna sprinkle in good info they’ll relay good info to me back. Just one way I find the universe speaking out through me and others around me.
Also before I actually think the Third movie is the most thought provoking myself I mean after all it is the climax ppl just tend to take the first thing they see at face value and deem it the only content worth attention, nah I weighed each film in its deserving objective creative sense, I like the second the most bc it shows the ecosystem of how integral anomalies work together, like the Merovingian and shit. Now Hollywood’s gotta Hollywood baby and dramatize some things to pray on your fears like the shadows on your walls, but tbh the only bad things there are created either by ones own unnecessary fear and I mean like if you’re constantly worried or anxious god (aka the game master for our matrix) might just send an “opponent” your way as to break that cycle. My evidence for this concept? God sending COVID as a message for mankind to change things up, start appreciating life more, it’s a revolution, however humanity just loves to revert so remember to catch yourself. Sometimes I wonder like, Neo and Smith were literal polar ying yangs there probably was a way to get along, just as there was with the machines on the “real” earth. There is a path here, it’s pretty obvious I mean there’s even messiah parallels to neo and neo did not once touch the bible in that movie. But imagine if neo had the tricks up his sleeve that the Bible taught, maybe there could’ve been reasoning with machines, maybe they could’ve devised a better combat method, idk I wouldn’t be the type to wanna run out and meet them if they’re hazardous but you know, jesus atleast made an attempt to lead lost sheep, those who were a lost cause he likened them as fuel for a fire, also I think in John it says the shepherd who enters through the gate, aka a path of moral righteousness, will be able to lead the sheep more effectively bc he is their master

Also ben, the discomfort I think that we all experience is just bc society’s current standards haven’t caught up yet, and as a result our peers and neighbors will be behind, Jesus said he’d choose apostles/patrons whatever word you wanna use same concept, 1 out of 1000. This is gonna sound kinda arrogant but those around you who cannot seem to figure it all out? Themselves their petty drama their unhappiness? They’re fuel to our fire, they’re the bottom tier cards support the upper echelon cards, but bc I hate the stupid goddamn structure of a pyramid invented by the ever so hypocritical and equally as terrible with inbreeding Egyptians, bc the same pyramid concept is used everyday to trick and deceive I mean how do you think the pyramids were built it surely wasn’t out of the kindness of their hearts. There is not true visible hierarchy or structure bc it’s only visible by god, those who spend their time worrying abt dumb shit like snap news or the next Gucci drop are literally not fit to loosen your sandal strap and as a result god leads them to become your temporary footrest bc even being close in proximity to a real woke person like that warms a lost soul so deeply. This is why when you see someone truly happy and I mean those days where you get good sleep good eat good balance and keep all those things consistent, if you take that person, put them in a crowd/sea of men, no matter what the lost souls are gonna gravitate towards a more found person. Same concept of why men who are a little more found find themselves here in this beautiful sense of community we have. You possess gifts, fire and lightning, our god given lanterns to guide, as a result we must impose our will or more like gods good Will onto the humanity bc tbh yeah you can get caught up on ideas that Facebook shoves down your throat, but these lost people will be forced to be quiet and listen to you, if you are truly found and are preaching an honest doctrine with no petty ulterior motive, doesn’t even matter if your speech isn’t prepared and you stumble a little, let it out in a charismatic, effective, and genuine way. And the masses will listen, and the lambs will obey, and you will truly lead, something rich folk struggle with bc god forbid they ever leave the cozy comforts of their ivory tower, same concept with blind lambs, who will never leave the cozy comfort of their blankies covering their eyes, so why should we, men with eyes and ears and flames and lightning, subject ourselves to a constant life of being a hermit just bc the majority of our peers are a little late to the party. I mean am I the only who finds it a little fun to be the smartest one in the room at a party full of simps? I mean of course I enjoy intelligent banter it’s why I come here and read books alone but cmon you can lead stupid motherfuckers so easily anyone in entertainment will tell you that, it’s best and always easier and will always FLOW easier to lead for the sake of the greater good, when you act out of the greater good men will be bound to listen, god will make them, when men like us always willing to listen always watchful and with open minds and the correct skepticism for any person preaching, the writer of dune says “charismatic leaders should come with a warning:might be bad for your health”. JFK was an example of a man who was good hearted and charismatic, I can name a dozen “entertainers” who are charismatic and the devil incarnate why you think LA and New York suck dick most of the time especially in the softcore human trafficking market of models and entertainers, and I use the word “artist” very loosely.
