The Flea and The Acrobat

I have a theory that can be analyzed by all of you, as well as share thoughts and opinions.

Whilst I was sitting on the couch browsing Netflix, (as most of us are taking it easy in the pandemic), I came across the hit series, Stranger Things. Of course this is a show of fiction, and nothing other than sci-fi entertainment, I did analyze something in the show that was compelling, and can be used for scientific explanation in reality.

In one scene, a science teacher explains the possibility of a parallel universe. He used an example where we, humans, are an acrobat on a tight rope. Our only directions of travel on the tightrope is forward and backwards. Meaning this is our reality. But think of a flea. It can go forward, backwards, underneath, and above the tightrope, unlike the acrobat (humans). What if there are interdimensional beings that have this capability?

This means that us humans have 2 dimension view and travel of reality. But what if there are 4 dimensional beings? We wouldn't even be able to observe them.

It's quite an interesting analogy, but there is some science behind it too, which I am going to explain in the next post of this thread.

If this gets proven, that expands the theory and analogy I have above.

Not to mention, has anyone ever thought that these possible 4 dimensional beings could be souls or spirits?

In some traditional schools of spirituality, beings which have the ability to pass through dimensions are said to be subtle. Conversely, the less subtlety a being possesses, the higher its level of manifestation. At the most definite form of manifestation, a being is material. Such a state obviously allows the being to affect the physical plane in a reliable and even predictable way, but comes with the limitation of binding the being to the material world. This reasoning makes sense in view of how ghosts are typically portrayed: they're beings deficient or sometimes even entirely lacking in physical form; consequently, they possess certain abilities that humans do not, but their capacity to affect the world around them appears crippled as a result. They are more subtle than us.

What about things more ethereal than ghosts, such as the forms that we could expect to find in the Platonic Heaven, or seemingly eternal concepts like truth, goodness, and beauty? They appear even more subtle. We can't experience them directly as they're intangible, and they do not even manifest in the fickle way that poltergeists do...yet we can perceive their effects within the world.

In my opinion, one of the most interesting questions that this cosmological worldview inspires is: does there exist a way for humans to ascend the hierarchy of dimensions, to experience subtler beings and forms in a more intimate fashion; if so, how?

Flatland: a romance of many dimensions

"From Nature [An anonymous letter entitled 'Euclid, Newton, and Einstein,' published in Nature on February 12, 1920, called attention to a little book by Edwin Abbott Abbott (1838-1926), best known for his scholarly Shakespearian Grammar, his life of Francis Bacon and a number of theological discussions.]
Some thirty or more years ago, a little jeu d' esprit was written by Dr Edwin Abbott, entitled 'Flatland.' At the time of its publication it did not attract as much attention as it deserved. Dr Abbott pictures intelligent beings whose whole experience is confined to a plane, or other space of two dimensions, who have no faculties by which they can become conscious of anything outside that space and no means of moving off the surface on which they live. He then asks the reader, who has the consciousness of the third dimension, to imagine a sphere descending upon the plane of Flatland and passing through it. How will the inhabitants regard this phenomenon? They will not see the approaching sphere and will have no conception of its solidity. They will only be conscious of the circle in which it cuts their plane. This circle, at first a point, will gradually increase in diameter, driving the inhabitants of Flatland outwards from its circumference, and this will go on until half the sphere has passed through the plane, when the circle will gradually contract to a point and then vanish, leaving the Flatlanders in undisturbed possession of their country.
Their experience will be that of a circular obstacle gradually expanding or growing, and then contracting, and they will attribute to growth in time what the external observer in three dimensions assigns to motion in the third dimension, through three-dimensional space. Assume the past and future of the universe to be all depicted in four-dimensional space and visible to any being who has consciousness of the fourth dimension. If there is motion of our three- dimensional space relative to the fourth dimension, all the changes we experience and assign to the flow of time will be due simply to this movement, the whole of the future as well as the past always existing in the fourth dimension.

And in any case, however great may be the number of different explanations, no one has adopted or suggested the theory of a Fourth Dimension. I like this concept I mean, your cells are only capable of replicating a fragment of your entire DNA and in the Bible it is stressed that as finite beings we can only hold a part of the entire machination. Just as a lighthouse is only emitting a fragment of the light that it’s bulb will produce in total for its lifespan. Bad analogy you get what I mean
