I noted the second dimensional object you illustrated bears a striking resemblance to the common illustration of atomic structures



If we're talking about spacial dimensions, it would seem that your 3rd and 4th dimensional illustrations both appear to be 3rd dimensional objects.

I had a wonderful video explaining in layman's terms the 4th dimension, on a conceptual level, but I've since deleted it as I no longer found it reasonably understandable (I have a very idiosyncratic method of speaking in person).
