If you’re ever to use symbology iconography idolization, it’s a double edged sword. Sure it’s useful to remember the cross but if you do that you forget why he died easily.

But just like you may remember your family or a loved ones face and smile, and you do this for a good reason, you should equally remember the Creator beyond those images and symbols and how the All was always there for you even when your family and idols fell

You shouldn’t have an imagine or an idol before the Lord or even need it to remember, once you do know Why though there’s no harm in it lest you risk actually forgetting but that is simply the everyday human condition.

This is why magicians are so obsessed with their maths and symbols and yeah there’s divine structure and geometry in everything but that’s sorta like worshipping the pyramid and not the architect the point is to enjoy both, even if disturbingly enough, that architect designed your prison and eden and wasn’t always aware of what truly can dwell in its own creation, whether it be evil good or both

That’s a wonderful point, this rhetoric is the very foundation of the dictation of division. I think what the man opposing idolization is saying is that all those ppl are/were/will always be guided by that same message, we should worship the message and not the receiver always, yet those who receive it very receptively tend to have advantages, and those advantages tend to be seen by mortal men first rather than the message not to call you in any way a mortal ben, if you truly were your rhetoric wouldn’t be that strong.

Images just get in the way tbh, but so do all these words, I guess that’s why the true message and vision is beyond sensory parables and even beyond the Creator of this world, however how could we not respect the family that is Holy, what he is asking of us is to respect the Why before anything and we do this always even without knowing it, and becoming conscious of the Why of anything and Family is the divine message as much as it can be expressed in simple words and images and these words and images help remind/serve to fuel the art of it All, yet we must respect the Singular Unity before we respect division and discord, and there is a way to do both bc “both” are “One”
