Hello, new here, where to start?

This site is fascinating but I'm a little confused on how to approach it. I suppose I should read thoroughly the pages from the homepage to "Good Luck" but where to after that? Can everything important be reached through the indexes on "Good Luck" or is this site a bit more maze-like than that?
A user claiming to have "solved it" says only the Evocation and "I Thought" pages are significant, and everything else is just an elaborate explanation of the importance of the number 9, but that doesn't seem right.

One other question, the gematria here seems to be all in the modern English alphabet and base ten, does everything work the same with different or expanded alphabets (such as Hebrew with its 22 letters or old English with 24) or different bases (such as base 12 or 20)?
