Preseason Compliments to Beat the Creeping Desert

Good morning one and all,

It's that time of year again when old Redbeck dashes off to that planet saving, indeed the future of feeding humankind, permaculture establishment in the sky, well halfway up a mountain really, in the Sierra de Tivissa over the pre- during- and post- festive season. I'm up where the air is pure and clean but the internet is intermittent, but happily where the battle to beat back the encroaching globally warmed arid dustbowl is fought on the front line.

In a way it's an enforced digital escape, detox if you like, far from the madding instruments of capitalism. Real homesteading where people truly care for the land not the profit. What I am saying is while I'll try, you might not see as much of my scribbling as you normally do, however internet permitting and the loan of a lap top and I'll be back to the regular flow soon enough.

So my best wishes to you over the festive season and please may 2017 bring positive change to us all and to the world, despite a wildly fluctuating protectionist political landscape across the globe, but there is much work still to do to achieve this change, any change in fact, because I believe we are now facing a completely different type of political animal and my plan is to assess quietly in contemplation, then become the genuine January man harnessing the combined power of atomic mind to beat that negativity of purpose that assails humans from all sides.

Never fear, I shall be around, so enjoy a pleasant break, but keep those ever so bright minds turning over in unison, for I personally cannot stand aside in anticipation of the earth grinding to a juddering halt, without taking action. Merely waiting for the lights to go out with out proactively heading that dark day off with intense commitment. Not For me the Day the Earth stood still.

My Dear Packajos000 how art thou, I thank thee for thy swift reply.

The gift we all seek is freedom, each version different, but to enjoy that freedom in all it's different iterations we must live, not suffocate as the earth and all the creatures that walk it slowly die around us. The ant is diligent and takes good care of the environment in which he or she lives, we are therefore not the superior intelligent being above the humble ant because we as a majority do not take that care.
