Well, as we sit astride a world in seemingly insurmountable turmoil, governments and politicians might refer to it by that ghastly term churn. Here we are humankind, yes grassroots, proletariat ordinary folk, mostly possessing good, decent, thoughtful minds sitting at best uncomfortably while our dignity, pride, future aspiration and well being are being sorely tested by the behaviour of so called global leadership feeding us platitudes and placebos.
‘Yes we are doing a good job, roll up, roll up, see the benefits of strong and stable government…..’, never mind that mere humanity beneath is under assault from all sides by floods, earthquake, hurricanes, drought, poisoned by CO2 and every other form of toxin dumped into the food chain, you can think of.
‘No, no… no such phenomenon as climate change or global warming, industrial and automotive fossil fuel emissions have absolutely no impact on frantically capricious weather patterns, dwindling polar ice caps and a 3 inch rise I sea levels since 1992 famine pestilence. Consumer output is almighty!
Yes humankind beset by conflict, the race back toward nuclear proliferation, don’t forget ladies, infants and lower order gentlemen, weapons make money, boost the economy, never mind the aftermath, after all Armageddon is only an intellectual state of mind, millions dying from famine, disease, persecution, collateral damage escaping from and caught up in dictatorial war, a mere fantasy land figures of speech of speech fired up by fake news.
Time to make our voices heard as we teeter on the pivot of catastrophic destruction. If the powers that be, another dreadful phrase, won’t change, then we the digits have to change the world en masse before it’s too late!

And this was just the result of an explosion due to the flawed design of a nuclear reactor -
not an atomic weapon!
The Chernobyl explosion pushed 400 times more radioactive material into the Earth's atmosphere than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima; all the atomic weapons tests conducted in the 1950s and 1960s put together are only estimated to have put some 100 to 1,000 times more radioactive material into the atmosphere than the lone Chernobyl accident.
The relative size of the Chernobyl release compared to the release due to a hypothetical ground burst of a bomb similar to the Fat Man device dropped on Nagasaki would equate to around 45 percent.
