Ah yes I see that you refer to the Mashiach, I was only looking at that recently and how remarkable is that! Mashiach, literally meaning 'the anointed one,' which refers to the ancient practice of anointing kings with oil as they took the throne. and a practice also mentioned in the Christian prayer entitled 'The Lord is my Shepherd'.
The mashiach is the one who will be annointed as king in the End of Days.
'The mashiach will be a great political leader descended from King David,' (Jeremiah 23:5)
'He will be well-versed in Jewish law, and observant of its commandments,' (Isaiah 11:2-5)
'He will be a great judge, who makes righteous decisions,,' (Jeremiah 33:15)
'Before the time of the mashiach, there shall be war and suffering,' (Ezekiel 38:16)

Certainly the intensity of prophecy is increasing, which implies humankind is on the cusp of a major shift in circumstances.

My dear Red_Rose thank you for another intriguing response. As I believe you have an intense interest in symbolism, I wonder if we should throw this question outwards. Should we be seeing the second coming of the Mashiach or Christos as an extra-terrestrial visitation?
Perhaps along the lines of American astronomer, cosmologist, astrophysicist, astrobiologist and author, Carl Sagan’s view that an ‘extraterrestrial intelligence will be elegant, complex, internally consistent and utterly alien…..’ in that he also wrote, ‘Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality.’

How now Red_Rose, there is so much alternative information flying through this conversation, I am delighted to say, it is hard to keep up and keep track. But can I ask another slightly tangential question in the case of the second coming of a saviour which is hopefully soon, although my judgement is shaded by the belief that perhaps, potentially they are already here? However, aside from that my question is, what are the thoughts on a second ANNUNCIATION, or has that already happened, according to your sources?
