If you watch the documentary it pretty much debunks all the nonsense for things that normally occur in nature as well as the means for the people to bild structures.

I've been enjoying a Podcast lately "It's Probably (not) Aliens!" where the two hosts discuss each episode of Ancient Aliens (what a dreadful television series), and explain just how wrong History Channel seems to be on everything they touch.

One thing that irritates me about Ancient Astronaut "theory" (what a horribly unfitting term!) is that it seems to simplify to "Look, these non-white people made a thing! Non-white people can't make things!". The only European structures and legends they ever seem to tackle are Stonehenge and some Norse mythology, as far as I can recall. I'm sure if one did the math, nearly all of the episodes would discuss things taking place out of Europe.
